1. Valentine's Day Wildlife Safari and Wine Tasting

This is held at Malibu Wine Safari's Saddlerock Ranch during Feb 13-15. You and your partner will go on an epic wildlife safari where you will see many different animals, then you take part in a chocolate/wine tasting. Best part? You get to create your own custom wine and take it home.

2. Reagan Library's Valentine's Day Dinner and Dance

The dinner and dance take place under the wings of Air Force One. If you're looking for something a little more elegant, this is it. You will taste a gourmet three-course meal, complete with hors d'oeuvres and champagne while listening to live music. If you and your guest are history buff's tour the Air Force One Pavilion and the special exhibits. You'll want to wear your best cocktail attire for this event.

3. Dinner of the Senses 

Pelican Hill Resort has put together the ultimate intimate dinner date. You'll be using all five senses as you eat your meal in the beautiful private poolside cabanas. There are entrees catered to both men and women. The catch? You eat your meal without using utensils and feeding your partner with your fingers is strongly encouraged.

4. Casablanca Screening

Cinefamily at the Silent Theater has an annual screening of the classic movie “Casablanca.” This movie screams romance and is a great twist on the typical movie date. There are two showtimes on Valentine's Day, an early show at 6:30 and a late show at 9:15. At just $14 per ticket, this is a cheap way to create a Valentine's date to remember.

5. Fake Prom at The Unique Space

If you've ever wished that you could have been the one to take your partner to prom, you might want to look into Fake Prom. This years theme is “Back To The Future's Enchantment Under The Sea.” Spend your Valentine's Day reliving glory days with your partner. You get a lot for your money including an open bar, corsages/boutonnieres and a cookie decorating station. Dress in your 80's best and get ready to have the time of your life.

6. Grand Park's Gotta Funky Sole: Lover's Edition 

Get down and funky on the dance floor at this fun event. You and your guest will enjoy a night of live music, dancing,and fun. There's a free photo booth, food trucks,and a fully stocked bar. Oh yeah, you can purchase gifts for your sweetheart in between dances.

7. Valentine's Day at Disneyland

This might seem a little redundant, but a Disneyland date can be a fun way to connect with your partner. Disneyland offers a number of special things to celebrate this day of love including and fun Valentine's Day themed entrees. Plus, the number of visitors is drastically reduced in February, which means less wait times.

8. Aphrodisiacs Cocktail Party

The day before Valentine's Day, celebrate love by learning about aphrodisiacs in history and love inspired art. Afterward, learn how to make your own intimacy inducing treats and drinks. Intimacy to follow shortly!
